Acute Aortic Dissection Review Articles

Aortic dissection is related with hypertension (tall blood weight) and numerous connective tissue clutters. Vasculitis (inflammation of an artery) is rarely related with aortic dismemberment. It can also be the result of chest injury. Around 72 to 80% of people who present with an aortic dismemberment have a previous history of hypertension. Unlawful drug use with stimulants such as cocaine and methamphetamine is also a modifiable risk factor for Aortic dismemberment. It can also be caused by smoking. A bicuspid aortic valve (a type of congenital heart malady including the aortic valve) is found in 7–14% of people who have an aortic dissection. These people are prone to dissection within the rising aorta. The chance of dissection in people with bicuspid aortic valve isn't related with the degree of stenosis of the valve.
