Abstract

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE, COMMUNICATIONS, AND CONFLICT: AN INTEGRATED PERSPECTIVE

Author(s): Fad Rani*

Employee engagement remains a critical determinant of organizational performance, innovation, and long-term sustainability. However, engagement does not exist in isolation it is shaped by organizational culture, communication practices, and conflict dynamics within the workplace. A strong organizational culture cultivates employee belongingness and shared values, while effective communication enhances clarity, trust, and collaboration. Conversely, unmanaged conflict can erode morale, weaken team cohesion, and diminish engagement levels. This article examines the interconnections among employee engagement, organizational culture, communication, and conflict. It highlights how these elements influence one another and how organizations can strategically manage them to build a resilient, productive, and harmonious work environment.
