AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON PERCEPTION OF WOMEN EMPLOYEES TOWARDS FACTORS INFLUENCING WORK-LIFE BALANCE WITH REFERENCE TO IT COMPANIES AT BENGALURU CITY

The paper analyzes the perception of women employees towards factors influencing work life balance with reference to IT companies at Bengaluru City. Using convenience sampling data were collected through the questionnaire. The survey questionnaire covered various domains, including factors affecting the perceptions of women employees and perception towards factors influencing work-life balance. The study employed a sample consisting of 512 women employees from IT companies located at Bengaluru. Data analysis has done using simple linear regression tests using SPSS to assess the data. The results reveals that there is a significant relationship between the effect of various factors on perceptions of women employees and also the factors significantly affecting perception towards factors influencing the work life balance. This analysis reveals how women employee’s perceptions towards work-life balance relate to their attitude level, health aspects, personal, family and organizational factors. The 32 elements on the scale are four-factor instruments intended to measure three dimensions: work environment, job satisfaction and quality of life. Three components were scored on a five-point Likert scale for reliability.
